Secret Singers

Didn’t we have a wonderful time at the Big Sing on Saturday! Burwain Sailing Club was a wonderful venue, it was warm and fine enough to do some singing outside- even if there was a bit of competition from music from across the lake.

I have had some lovely comments about the evening which I include here and also some photos.

Angela Dewey, Marple group sent some recordings which are mp4 format and I will try to get those on too.

I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and must now get on with the prep for next term!!

What a fantastic evening! Thank you so much for all your hard work and patience through the year. As you know I sing with a few groups but Secret Singers is my top choice…. A

I would just like to thank you for a lovely time at the Big Sing last night. I always knew/felt that I’d missed the group but last night made me realise just how much I have missed it! I felt so uplifted after I didn’t go to bed till after 2am! Yep, songs going round and round in my head, lol. Can’t wait for the new term!

It was lovely to see so many faces that I remembered, and also a lot of new ones.

What a totally glorious, indulgence we all had last night!  It was simply brilliant and a huge thank-you for organising it all amidst everything else you do!  Everything was perfect, the setting, the weather, the company – not to mention the food!  Really gorgeous.  Thought we sang as well as ever – especially Se Si Zo, which Alan thought was fantastic.  To have so much fun with like-minded people obviously feeling just the same was amazing and I think we could all have sung all night.  Renewed thanks and hope you have a fantastic trip to France, love Di

What a lovely, happy evening, big smiles all around, a great atmosphere,
good food, wonderful roof lifting singing and the last song was simply
beautiful.
Thank you so very much for organising another excellent and enjoyable event.
It was really nice to meet up with the singers in the other groups. What I
love about Secret Singers is how friendly and supportive every one is and how you
encourage us to be the best that we can be. As we sang all the songs that we
have been learning (and some were quite a struggle!) they now felt familiar
and comfortable. I think that we sounded brilliant!
