What a great evening we had at Burnley Rugby Club on 18th Dec. I thought this new venue for our BIG SING worked really well. It is a good room, with no distractions, plenty of car parking space and a separate area for our glorious buffet! The coming together of singers from all the groups was wonderful and our amalgamated choir made a truly joyous sound. Thanks to everyone who came and if you missed this one there will be another in July. See you in class

Mid Pennine Arts are holding an event commemorating the Christmas Truce of the First World War. This link goes directly to information about the event and gives all the necessary musical information too. You are very welcome to use this if you are interested in participating in the event. The first workshop took place yesterday and I understand that it was a great success with more than 50 singers attending. There are still 2 more workshops to go and therefore still time to join in.https://app.box.com/s/b266haymnyvjqendbem6
