It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
This week marks Nelson Secret Singers’ last session for this year. We’ll be singing songs we’ve been practicing this term and some quick to learn Christmas and New Year’s songs. Sadly, tomorrow will also be the last ever singing session for East Lancs Secret Singers. The group has become too small to run sustainably for me due to my long journey. However, we’ll go out with a…la, la, la 🙂 You can look forward to carols, yoiks and celebratory songs to wish you well for the new year. From 5th …

My Retirement but the Choirs Will Continue!
This week in class I announced my intention to retire from running choirs. I have had some wonderful times with the Secret Singers Choirs since I started them in 2010 and I have wonderful memories of things we have done and songs we have sung together but I am ready for some new adventures now and looking forward to that. It will be very sad not to see any of you anymore though. The loss of people is really the hardest. I will miss you. HOWEVER, THE CHOIR WILL CONTINUE! ( …

It is my intention to restart classes on Tuesday 11th Jan 2022 for Marple and East Lancs and Wednesday 12th for Todmorden, unless any new restrictions come into force before then. I know that the infection rate has gone up massively but people who have had their 3 jabs are well protected from serious and life threatening disease, so they say, and also if we all look after each other …
