Today (22/214) The Todmorden group of Secret Singers, aided and abetted by a number of women from the Nelson and Read groups performed at Todmorden Town Hall where there was an International Womens’ Day Event. The whole thing went done extremely well and was enthusiastically received by the assembly. So much so that we were asked to perform a reprise in the upstairs room for the stall holders there who could not leave their stall and did not want to miss out. I was so proud of the women who performed, they made such a lovely sound and looked so happy that I expect a deluge for new members in the Todmorden group any day now. How could anyone stay away!
