Nelson Secret Singers will meet again from this Thursday. Instead of drop-in sessions, you can now book a block of six sessions with the first block starting on 5th January. Here are some songs to look forward to in the first six weeks of the new year: Lean on me, Blow the wind southerly, Stevie Wonder’s Happy Birthday, Bring me li’l water, Sylvie (reprise).

I will offer a three-tiered payment system for the six-week blocks. Please be aware that the low rate does not cover costs (room hire, travel costs). The middle rate only just covers costs with the top rate covering costs and offering me a small income.

If you can afford to pay the top rate, you could support someone who has been struggling to pay £7 a session to join us regularly again. Similarly, if you cannot afford to pay in one go or cannot pay at all, please get in touch and we will work something out.

Pay for a six-week block:

Low rate: £26

Middle rate: £43

Top rate: £59

As a guide, the top rate is for those whose household income is equivalent to a decent full wage, the middle rate is for those whose household income is equivalent to a part-time or low wage and the lower rate is for those whose household income is equivalent to being unwaged and relying on benefits.
