The fantastic Crossroads Care in the Ribble Valley have provided the funding for 3 day-long workshops in the Ribble Valley culminating in a concert at West Bradford Village Hall in 17th November 2012. The idea is to raise awareness of the work of Crossroads Care and to have activity in valley halls across the valley which will bring people together for a grand day out. They especially hope to see carers having a day off  and getting some ‘me time’ but ALL are welcome.(and most of us do caring at sometimes in our lives don’t we?)

The first workshop was in Pendleton Village Hall and was a really lovely day- including sitting outside in the sunshine for our lunch and the next is at Gisburn Village Hall on Saturday 13th October 10-4 with the last at Slaidburn Village Hall on 11th November. The more people who come the jollier it is for everyone so don’t be shy, come along

The plan is that there will be some of the same songs learned at each workshop which will then be performed by all the workshop attendees at the concert and there will also be a couple of songs on each day which will be just learned and performed by that group. This should make an interesting concert when supplemented with some other performances.
