I am going on holiday at the end of this week, 8th April but there are a couple of exciting things happening in the run up to that. (holiday dates at the end of this post)

On Wednesday the Todmorden group will be visited by a film crew who are making a documentary and are interviewing one of the group in relation to this whilst she is at choir- the interviewer is Rupert Everett- So that will be a bit different!

On Thursday the Carer’s Chorus are going to be taking part in the performance of a newly written work in Manchester Cathedral called So Many Beauties. It was written by Holly Marland and is a celebration of creativity, especially raising awareness of the potential for creativity in those with dementia. We will be part of the community choir sections made up of three choirs, there will also be a choral society, a children’s choir, an ensemble and some professional soloists. I starts at 7pm and ticket are £8
